2009-2010 BOWC Scholarship Program

BOWC works together to make the dreams of military family members come true.

The 2010 Scholarship Application is now available!

The Belvoir Officers’ Wives’ Club annually awards college scholarships to deserving, eligible U.S. military family members. The scholarship competition is open to military family members, including military spouses. Family members of all ranks of active duty or retired or deceased members of all armed services, including the Guard and Reserves are encouraged to apply. The applicant must have a valid military identification card. The applicant must reside within the greater Washington D.C. area, or the applicant's sponsor's assignment must be with in the DC area. Of course, applicants must be enrolled in or planning to enroll in an accredited 4-year or 2-year college or university. Click here to download the BOWC Scholarship Application 2010.

Applications will be reviewed anonymously by a special selection committee and judged based upon academic achievement and other achievement, community involvement, leadership, and the original essay.
